Incredibly misleading title, I expected a guy called Rick joining the scarlet speedster in another DC Universe event picture. Instead I got... a surprisingly decent movie with a great performance from the wonder woman that is Meryl Streep.

Ricki and the Flash is the typical redemption movie that we get year after year. Meryl Streep is great as she always in but the film focuses too much on music video like performances and not enough on the characters. This is certainly watchable but doesn't evolve any further than a passion project for Streep that will be easily forgotten.
