Paul Rudd always delivers, and Seann & the kids give good performances too. It's entertaining enough for the first hour, but the last half-hour is really where the heart is.

Paul Rudd, Ken Jeong, Ken Marino, and Jayne Lynch. This was like the Party Down dream team just a few months before the show started airing.

I once read that the Movie Wayne's World was actually a shell of a script and that the movie was just filled in with site gags later on. Obviously that worked, at least in the first movie. It very much felt like the same kind of idea with this movie, except that the delivery was terrible (having Stiffler as one of the leads probably should have been a sign). Hey look, the kid is swearing and breaking stuff for the twentieth time. BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA. Ugh. The movie was really amateurish site gag after site gag, and these were only interrupted by terrible dialog. It really is a shame that such a talented comedic supporting cast was so wasted on this film (I actually felt bad for Jane Lynch).

_Role Models_ was a big disappointment, especially as a fan of Paul Rudd. I expected more from this comedy, but it struggled to maintain my interest throughout. While it had its moments, the overall execution fell short of what I had hoped for. Despite Rudd's presence, it lacked the comedic punch and engagement that I was looking for.

Yes, this bastardization of Big Daddy and Good Boys is awfully unfunny, but it does include an engaged women who's unfaithful because a man tells her he has a boner and an adult man talking to a 10-year-old about tits. So there's that. :person_facepalming_tone2:

I thought it was really funny when Stifler...oops wrong movie right guy. Sure he plays the exact same character in every movie but it was hilarious here. This movie had laughs from beginning to end. Even the swearing around the kids didn't feel wrong like _Bad Santa_. If you are a KISS fan, this movie is an absolute must see. The costumes and music reference will make your day.

Role Models is a story that really lets the humor come naturally. All the actors and their respective characters lend themselves towards a pretty funny movie. Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott should be working together more often.

Refreshingly good natured comedy. You just have to read beteween the lines.

It has been awhile seen I have seen this one and I must say, it holds up! I remember having loads of fun with Role Models when I was in my early twenties because I was in love with Stifler and American Pie. But now that I'm quite a bit more grown up I enjoy Paul Rudd a lot too. Both Rudd and Scott are decent in this one. Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Augie and Bobb'e J. Thompson are fun too.

Loved the heart in the final part and damn totally forgot about that sausage part. And them playing an old school FIFA? Always fun to see! Also totally forgot about Joe Lo Truglio and Ken Jeong being in this!

David Wain's Role Models is one of the more fun comedies out of the 2000's and one that holds up really well. Fun way to spend your friday night!
