Surprisingly better than I thought it would be; I truly hope to see Kaley Cuoco in more action roles, as her hand-to-hand scene was well choreographed and executed.

Not funny enough to be a comedy, not flashy enough to be an action comedy, not dramatic enough to be anything else.
Lack of a general direction seems to really hurt this movie, it wants to be everything and ends up being nothing of value. Shame, one hell of a cast tho.

This is basically a better version of the True Lies (utter bullshit) series. Too bad it's not as a series, but a movie.
It does underperform in many aspects unfortunately.
First hour of the movie was quite enjoyable, then it got a bit too much like 'its time to wrap-up the storylines'. That was too bad. Would have worked much better as a limited series. Or maybe another season of The Flight Attended.

Honestly the movie was good idea it had great potential but I feel like they just couldn't reach its full potential there was a lot of moments where things felt like it was missing or lacking

I wanted to like it. It had a lot of good ingredients but didn't seem able to bring it all together and figure out what sort of movie it wanted to be. Comedy was infrequent, action was occasional and drama disjointed. And the ending COULD be interpreted to be setting up for a sequel. It wasnt horrible, but the "what if my family/partner discovered I'm a spy/assassin" sub-genre is getting a bit crowded these days, and this isn't the best rendition.

It's supposed to be an action movie and a comedy, but it felt like the balance they were reaching for ruined it. Because it wasn't reallly funny, and there was no much action scenes.

Kaley finds herself in a comedy action films quite well. Bill played his role brilliantly. But overall the film isn't exciting.

Yikes
Something that came out recently that was familiar was The Family Plan, it wasn't good but rather fun and, enjoyable and the lead Mark Wahlberg was convincing in the main role. This isn't the case with Kaley Cuoco who typically plays silly and over-the-top characters, so her playing the somewhat serious yet comedic assassin was never going to be believable to me. It's supposed to be an action rom-com but the action is poor, with no romance and it's not funny whatsoever, it never even made me smile. The movie doesn't know what to be, the first half tries to be a comedy and then the last half tries to be serious.
David Oyelowo is a better actor than these roles.
