Would have loved to see more of people like **Patti Smith** and **Joni Mitchell** and less of all the made-up stuff.. **Sharon Stone**'s part was especially irritating.. :grimacing:

Let me start by saying I'm not an unconditional fan of Dylan's, I don't search out his songs on Spotify, and couldn't name one of his albums. Those who know me, however, know that I love the 70s with the fervent passion of one who never lived in them.

Thus it was with trepidation that I started in on this 2 1/2 hour opus and, what can I say? I may not be a Bob Dylan fan, but I'm a huge fan of the man I saw here. The poetry, the cameos (Alan Ginsberg, Sam Shephard, Joni Mitchell, and, of course, Joan Baez), even the music all set to the backdrop of this era that is my soul date kept my enthralled and grinning for every minute.
