I am a big Denzel fan but I did not enjoy this movie, for a movie of the suspense genre it doesnt even try to surprise you, I was waiting for the twist to discover there wasnt one, the only redeeming value of the movie is the good acting of Denzel and Ryan Reynolds and some OK action sequences, I really wanted to like this movie but you cant help the feeling that you've seen this a hundred times.

Intense.

I was waiting to see this one for a while denzel being my favourite actor & it was good i did like it but wasn't quite as good as i thought it would be but still a great watch & would recommend it.

Was expecting something better since I really like Denzel Washington, but this was too much of everything. Too much action and the storyline definitely needs some work. Also it tends to be predictable.

There are better movies out there.

Ryan Reynolds is freaking awesome in this - I think it's his best performance yet!

predictable, but not in a bad way. much more action than thriller, and very well acted. ryan and denzel's last scene together made me a little emotional ngl.

An entertaining film but nothing beyond that.It really doesn't bring anything new to the action/thriller genre.

I want to see more serious Ryan Reynolds roles like this or like Smokin' Aces (not so much like 6 Underground). It was cool seeing an innocent safe house keeper use the skills for something more exciting and waking up to the corruption he is surrounded by. Also, Denzel is always good, even when he is supposed to be bad.

The only good part about this movie was that it had Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Don't get me wrong, I liked the film. I thought the action scenes were really entertaining and loved every minute of them, but I didn't think this movie was as great as Denzel's other films like "Inside Man", and "Unstoppable". I also thought "Déjà Vu" and "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" were better than this.

While a low-level CIA agent Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) is in charge of looking after fugitive Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), the safe house is attacked, and they find themselves on the run.

This was not a ground breaking thriller and it was nothing we haven’t seen before, but Denzel and Ryan manage to have really great chemistry together and make it a fun ride. Vera Farmiga is an underrated actress, and she is not talked about enough as an actress. She didn’t have a whole lot to do in this movie which was a shame. It was filmed really well, and the action scenes were great. It is quite a standard movie and like most are just let down by the story. There was not anything that really engaged my brain and was kind of predictable. The middle part of the movie felt a little slower than the first and I was not too satisfied with the climax, but it was still decent. Daniel Espinosa did manage to create an above average action thriller and was well shot. 6/10.
