Dumb movie, full of bad clichés, unfortunately.
I watched Zodiad Knights anime on the 90's and even recently, and this has nothing to do with it. It's a movie to avoid

Full of crap. It is for children with poor CGI and a nonsense story. Waste of time.

Oh man... What a train wreck... Never have I gave a rating of 2/10, and I didn't go for 1 since I have pity on the actors, they have no fault. It's just all so... Wrong... Wrong... Wrong... Stop making these things without knowing what the heck you are doing. The end result is somewhat similar to happened to dragon ball evolution, but I think this one was even worse. What a shame, truly.

Just watch the anime, then copy it. That is it. Easy, right? This is worst than the KOF, DOA, movies.

I have no idea what drunken person described Knights of the Zodiac to the screenwriters.

I couldn’t finish it!
Imagine if the CW Network made a live action movie from an anime property!
This is the result!

Wow this was so bad done. All the smartass reply and the "you really don't give up" phrase was very annoying.
Docrates is a joke, really, less one minute and he's down.
And Marin saying that knight is brave when Seiya just finished climbing a mountain??
And did they used Sean Bean to have fun with us like "Yeah, as soon as you see him, you know he will die."??
And! Atenas, a goddess, her make up was terribly bad done. Her hair is worse than mine! And the mascara!!
Ugh.

I enjoyed the cinematography of the kicking and the punching but that was about as far as it went. The acting was subpar at best, and the story had much to be desired. The graphics weren’t bad in some parts, in others, they needed much improvement. Jean Grey has had one too many Botox sessions and Sean Bean obviously died. Essentially, this movie is the awkward cousin of Mortal Kombat that doesn’t get invited to the Christmas parties.

This movie reeeeeally drags. A whole lot of nothing happens throughout the movie and the plot completely takes out the other Bronze Knight protagonists. The only highlight is the orchestral version of Pegasus Fantasy, otherwise, the screenwriters need to find themselves a new day job.

Action sequences are phenomenal.
Cgi was great.
Script was generic.
Plot was simple.
I just couldn't finish watching it, got bored halfway through.

So-so. There's potential, but it seems they were given a very low budget. They could've improved the script too, it was as if after so many edits, "this is fine, we're on a tight schedule". I can see where they want this to go, but they didn't deliver it well. It was lacking. It could've been better.

Sheesh... I only watched this until the end because of Sean Bean and Mark Dacascos. It was a rough ride with some horrible acting but some interesting special effects. A muddled "plot" with very disjointed references to gods and heros.

Percy Potter and the CGI Prints is like a DVD box: shiny, colorful and empty.

(How was the screenwriting? There were flashforwards in the flashbacks.)

After the recent insufferable experiences with live actions, I treaded carefully regarding this one, but despite the production having relatively little of the original anime, even with a shallow story, it was a decent re-read.

Unlike titles like Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach that opted with having a mostly Eastern cast, "Knights of the Zodiac" comes packed with some well-known Hollywood names. Even though Famke Janssen and Sean Bean didn't have much room to truly live their characters, at least it served to balance the youngsters who were just good enough, at least for half of the movie. Kudos to Mark Dacascos! After the fiasco that "Blade of 47 Ronin" was (not because of him, of course), it was an amazing performance.

The cloths/armours didn't convince me at first, but as the story unfolds they looked acceptable enough when combined to the CGI. Speaking of which, even though the visual effects were far from being masterpieces, at least they were convincing enough to complement the quite poor fighting scenes, especially the final one.

All in all, even lacking the passion, it was an enjoyable flick and a solid 6.0 to me.

honestly it's nothing much, but it's watchable, I've never seen the original anime so I don't know how many things are wrong with the anime lore in this movie, I found the beginning extremely similar to the mortal Kombat movie, maybe it's a copy or inspired, those completely black henchmen are totally generic and without any creativity, the movie is all cliché and also without personality, the cgi is not the worst, the fights are nothing special and cool, but it's watchable and can entertain some children, that's why I give it a rating 5, but I think it deserves much less. I don't expect anything from a sequel.

Don’t waste your time with this movie. Knights of the Zodiac is a horrible adaptation of the classic anime, with performances that seem like they’re from a Mexican soap opera. The special effects are ridiculous, the dialogues are clichéd and the story is confusing. The movie does not do justice to the Knights of the Zodiac, who deserved a better version. This movie is an offense to fans and newcomers who want to know the saga.
