One day, one moment, one idea can change lives. Noah Davis is a Pastor in an affluent community. Depressed after losing his wife to illness, he is contacted by an old friend who has opened a mission in a rough inner city neighborhood. With Christmas approaching, he packs up and together with his two daughters, moves into Salvation Street Mission. Now the family must struggle with the challenges they face in the crime ridden community. Noah's inspiration guides his daughters, the mission and the neighborhood by bringing them the greatest gift of all, hope.

Great example of how the movie poster lures you in. The netflix image for this movie showed a family of four approaching a cozy looking church in the middle of nowhere surrounded by snow. There is no family of four, and definitely no snow. The Trakt.tv image shows a similar image but it's a guy with his dog instead and there is no guy with a dog in this movie at all. Ultimately, this is an urban story that takes place at a mission in downtown LA (or possibly Long Beach) about helping a family (and some others) in need. It has a good message and kudos to the indie filmmakers for pulling it off but don't expect anything too fancy.
