Sanak is yet another hostage drama action thriller for the king of action currently in Bollywood. Vidyut Jamwal definitely packs a punch when it comes to raw action with hand-to-hand combat skills thanks to his Mixed Martial Arts training and he showcases those skills with great resolute. But Other than the great action, which at times seems overdone and forced Sanak offers nothing new to the viewers. The direction for me is very poor, the lead actress Rukmini is, unfortunately, the weakest actor in the cast, and she as a debutant wasn't promising. The screenplay is fast and doesn't waste much time but at times the forced melodrama and some peculiar events make this another cliched Bollywood product that is easily skippable. Vidyut Jamwal is the only person who may force you to sit through but when it comes to his acting he being one of my personal favorites disappoints too. Overall Sanak may not be the movie you will enjoy much this weekend.
