Five men heist the Camp Pendleton payroll and kidnap a pilot and his daughter, who are forced to fly them to Mexico. Enroute a double cross has one of the thieves parachute with the loot into an abandoned farm surrounded by strange scarecrows. The rest of the team jump after their loot and their former partner. Everything happens during the course of one very dark night.

This is pretty bad. The acting is amateurish, there is little plot, and the movie is boring, slow and and not engaging in the least.

This is no "Dark Night of the Scarecrow". A group of criminals pursue the money they lost on a spooky farm. The atmosphere of the eerie farm and the creepy scarecrows are well done and the story is even passable. But the acting is so awful and almost all of the characters are despicable. There's no one to care about and this seems to be a case of the filmmakers wanting to reward the viewer with merciless kills.

A weak plot, bad acting and slow progress. Nothing really happens, nothing that would keep most fans of horror interested. Not even a "so bad it's good" film. Sh*te.

This movie is about as slow and uneventful as the scarecrows themselves. Supernatural? Undead? Nothing about this makes any sense, and dont expect any kind of explanation. Some decent gore is about all you'll get here, but the movie wastes so much more time trying to put itself together than following a plot, it's barely worth spending time on.

The idea of some ex-military criminals being hunted at night by some malevolent scarecrows seems like the plot for a comedy horror, not a serious genre film, yet somehow – and slightly surprisingly – this is an effective and atmospheric horror flick.
