Welcome to the world of Jean Rollin where the guys are degenerate scumbags, the girls are sex-starved sluts, and nothing makes sense.
So, the version I watched was not just cut, but butchered. Though, I doubt the complete version makes much more sense.
Let's start with the title: our two girls aren't schoolgirls, nor do they hitchhike. I suppose Homeless Lesbians wasn't as catchy of a title.
There is a lot of narration here, and it gets annoying quickly.
Anyway, our girls find a seemingly abandoned house, and then sexy times commence.
"I decided to go out and breathe a little fresh air” *smokes a cigarette* It was at this moment I realized this movie was an unintentional dark comedy. Meaning, through no fault of its own, it is funny, but it shouldn't be. In other words, it's a poorly-written, and directed mess. But this is Jean Rollin, so either strap in or get out.
Turns out the house is not abandoned, it's being used by a "gangster" and the only aspect scary about him is his mustache. Seriously, I may have nightmares about that thing!
Now, because this is Rollin, our lesbians are bisexual. Really, who can blame them for not wanting a piece of this unattractive tool? Dude looks like AIDS Charles Bronson.
The plot is so convoluted, I can't bring myself to explain all of it. It's a mess involving stolen jewels, which is undermined at the end.
What is the point of this movie? I think Rollin just really enjoys rape and torture.
Actually, I say rape, but it's really not; these women are put in situations of sexual assault, but they're just okay with it.
This isn't even the most illogical Rollin movie. Although, it may be the most idiotic.
If it wasn't already clear, there is tons of nudity in this - even more in the uncut version, which I need to track down. The girls are all super hot, so it's the only saving grace here.
