A film that changed the world of thrillers. All thrillers nowadays are inspired by John Doe, the serial killer featured in the movie.

It is also a movie that needed to be seen at the time of its release, because now it seems to be the copy of the copy. In fact, if the first vision is made now, it is very predictable to understand who and what would have been in that box, but at the time it would have been almost unthinkable, and that is why Seven is an essential film, a cult for the genre.

Morgan Freeman superb, Brad Pitt incredible especially in the final scene, Seven is a film about evil through the 7 deadly sins, and not a police film. Adrenaline-pumping chase scenes, tense nerves in the final scene of the film and the desire to find out every minute that passes who the real killer is.

Would I recommend this to the average audience? No. As I said before, I recognize that it can be boring and rundown given the multiple films that have been inspired by this milestone. I'm guilty of this myself since I saw it in 2022. But I recognize its importance and it certainly would have been a must-see movie in the 90s and early 00s.
