hilarious, sexy and way more charismatic than the first SATC in my book. If you are a fan of the franchise, you must see this one.

More cinematic than the first one, it's not as awful as I was expecting. Fun movie for a Sunday afternoon. Problematic as hell, though. It would definitely get a louder backlash today.

Neither fabulous nor awful, but no more offensive than The Hangover, i.e., they're all Americans behaving badly in a desert. Don't beat-up on this one just because they're women.

I was never a fan of the series, and I didn't pay much attention to the first film when it ran on cable, so I have no frame of reference, but as a film, it worked at times and didn't at others, which is to say, it was a pretty average film.

Better than the first movie. Can't even tell why. Nothing of any relevance happens. It's very kitschy. It's very predictable. It's a very ignorant approach to other cultures. If you want to watch a funny story about married New Yorkers in a heat wave (one also being a fashion icon) contemplating the possibility of an extramarital affair, you should better watch *The Seven Year Itch*.

Best:

* The fabulous Liza Minnelli performing *Single Ladies*

* Apparently, German *naschen* is from Yiddish (or vice versa - you can never say).
* Alice Eve (sporting her British accent with a spot of fake Irish)
* The old Miley Cyrus

The first half is quite good but then it crash and burns but the final scene (for me) was a pretty good way to end it all

I have neither watched the TV show nor the first movie. I was surprised how interesting this movie was though. Not really great but nice for a rainy afternoon – also the lessons taught (might they be intentional or by accident) are quite nice.
Weirdly enough I like Kristina Davis' role the most, who has probably the most boring and at the same time notorious character ever seen…
