I don't understand this movie at all, but I want to because it's a blast of cringe, sorrow, and stress right to my retinas and I will relish its memory for as long as I can.

Mumblecore art-house psychological horror your jam? Not sure many will raise their hand, but if you did this should be a go-to. For a 90 minute film, it unfortunately dragged in a few spots, but there were some great moments of contemplative beauty, dark humor, and existential dread. I'd caution against watching this unless you are specifically looking for something really out there, because it's a unique experience that may come across as unwatchable to some.

Seemed like a Canadian, made-for-specific-morons-from-Ontario, and not a public from outside Tim Hortons locality. In other words, a total Snoozefest ‘82

ps - if i have to hear that god awful mozart requiem song one more time I sware, this is literally an awful film

This belongs to the genre "do not see it even if you have a gun on your head"
How is this in some lists with "gems you have missed" etc is beyond me.
20 minutes in the movie and i was started wondering what i was seeing, maybe i said i skip some intro or was second part of something. Nonsense, nothing to follow, nothing to call "art" or something. A very very horrible movie.

It's not bad, actually it's quite good and at some points I think I could even taste some horror, but overall it was too vague for me. I did not really understand what it all meant and had to read about it. And I don't like reading at all. But very nice visuals, and the dread goes through the whole movie. I would watch it again, but I think I will die tomorrow.

I find it very hilarious because of how dumb it was. Had a good laugh. I get the idea that fear is infectious, but idk, how it all come together is just funny to me. I feel so bad.

I have a co-worker and friend that was raised in England but has been living in American for the last 20+ years. He is an excellent speaker and I've noticed that when he talks in meetings that things usually go his way. I wouldn't say that he is pushy.... "authoritative" is probably a better description. He just sounds like he knows what he is talking about and when you couple that with the American fixation on an English accent it is easy to see how persuasive a person can be.

Anyway, my friend once said that the fact that he talks so authoritatively is the key to being persuasive and that it doesn't matter if he is right, it only matters if people believe you. This movie is the perfect example of that. People tend to be impressed by people that are sure of themselves. This movie (once you see what is going on) is the perfect example of that. That said, once you see what they are going for the movie gets a bit stale toward the end but it's still an interesting way to tell a story.

Has some half-baked philosophy that doesn't really go anywhere.
Maybe that's the point but idk, it seems kinda pretentious to me.

Cool idea, poorly developed and implemented. What the characters experienced was essentially a shared psychosis with some schizophrenia and mass psychogenic illness sprinkled in.
Maybe the writer/director was also going for the topical metaphor of COVID-19, I don't know.

It all just felt super edgy and on the pretentious. The first 20 minutes was REALLY hard to get through then it did slightly come back a little. It had some interesting philosophical elements which my wife (a big exestentialist) thought was interesting but a little predictable and nothing new to really add to the table. Had some notable actors in though and we made it to the end, forgettable though unfortunately.
