Shershaah is a commendable effort by Vishnu Vardhan and team to give a befitting tribute to one of India's Bravest Soldiers Captain Vikram Batra's sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War, but to be honest, Shehshaah, though well-intended is still a pretty average final product which may not be that inspiring which it might have intended to be. Still, it packs some well-choreographed gunfire sequences, exhilarating action set pieces, catchy dialogues , a few soulful melodies and a solid, gritty comeback performance by Siddharth makes Shershaah a stream-worthy watch.

It was inspiring & heartbreaking to see what our army has to go through to win this war (which should not have happened in the first place)
.
Nowadays Bollywood rarely make these type of movies with simple & beautiful songs and without exaggerating the action scenes.

-1 for not showing much of Vikram sir's personal life, you can read about it on Wikipedia about his decision making capabilities. In the movie he is shown very impulsive.

-1 for not showing that he had fever and injuries before his final mission but he still decided to continue with it.

You can read more about him and other heroes in the book 'Param Vir: Our Heroes in Battle' Or 'Wikipedia'.

An average-to-decent action movie, a little predictable at times, a little cheesy
