In term of the film's polemic, I am in total agreement. The Bush Administration was not to be trusted after the events of 9/11. However, as a film, this is more political tract than a piece of cinema. The script is heavy-handed in getting its point over, and the dialogue, for the most part, seems forced. I am thankful to Reiner for wanting to bring our attention back to the lies the government span, but I wish he had made a better film to back up his political statements.

Pretty good move about the REAL story behind U.S. government "connecting" 9-11 and Sadam Husein WMD B.S.

This is the left wing equivalent of a Daily Wire produced film. I don’t disagree with its interpretation of historical events, but there are much more subtle and much less preachy ways of portraying them.

Decent movie, great cast. It's a good reminder that most of the US media did a terrible job in being a critical force.

But I'm disappointed that the movie suggests that only this one newspaper "knew". . Internationally there were masses of other media (and countries), seeing through the lies of the Bush administration.

[Filmin] A brave movie, because it focuses in the media as complicit in the lies of the government. It has agile dialogues and good performings, but Rob Reiner seems more interested in the message than in the way it is delivered. Thus, the film remains in an unsuccessful attempt to convey journalistic passion for the search for truth, and sometimes makes speeches that seem as political as the ones it criticizes.

This movie deserves more attention.

Anyone who was reasonably aware of what happened then really knew what was going on there. Even if many do not want to admit that to this day. It happens even today.

The movie is really good and shows the background of what the real motivation was for going to war. In my opinion, it does this without any judgment and presents the facts. Everyone can then draw their own conclusions. I've always liked such revelational films, but in times of CGI-studded blockbusters, they're going under a bit. A little more running time would have been good for the whole thing.
