I don't care what anyone else says, 10/10 for concept. Queer India felt represented and that's the greatest thing a movie can do honestly. Moreover, the chemistry between Jitendra and Ayushman was gold.

The movie does not do justice to the people who are gay, Not everyone is soft like the Tripathis. Jokes were good but their deilevery and timing was not and I think the actors (aged ones) themselves might have felt awkward while playing their roles. Still it was a good movie and fun to watch. It connects with many people in India especially rural india and give them the message that being different is quite alright.

This is a fun and charming film. The story may seem a little dated for Western viewers but it feels like an important entry for Indian Queer Cinema. Excellent cast with some great music, too.
