This thing is trying to be so many different movies at once, but let's face it, all we want to see is Lundgren be some crazy killer like he looks on the poster. Not enough of that really goes on to warrant sitting through the whole thing, although those sniper moments are tense and cool, if few and far between, instead there's way too much time spent on the deranged mall cop dude who's got some seriously majorrrrr issues.

Great dialogue, very pretty, and extremely good chemistry between the leads, made Silent Trigger a rather nice surprise. There really no plot to be had here, but it works very well non-the-less. Dolph Lundgren and Gina Bellman do great work in this, but also of note is the nutty, spider obsessed security guard played by Christopher Heyerdahl. I sort of gave up on Lundgren for a while in 90s and 00s, so I never actually saw this back when it was new. My bad... and maybe I need to look into more of these now.
