Singaravelan film revolves around a young man (Kamal Hassan) living in a village with his mother. The comedy and songs are the only things that hold up. The story is weak, the characters sexist, and story progression illogical (the heroine changing her mind to fall in love in Velan was the most illogical sequence of events I have seen on screen.)
