I was really hoping this movie would be freaking awesome! It was still pretty good, bloody, gory, and even a little bit psychedelic. The action scenes were a little tepid though.

Skull has some fantastic practical effects and big-guy choreography to show off but felt rather flat storywise to me. I'm aware of it's limited budget and don't expect a masterpiece but either flesh that out or go crazier ;).

An incredible concept brought to life by excellent actors and deliciously gory effects, but hamstrung by a weak script. We're introduced to quite a few characters and their motivations are either murky or lost in translation. I felt confused and a bit burnt out by the end.

Skull: The Mask is a lousy excuse of a horror film with a deteriorating storyline that crumbles under its own weight, an incompetent lead actor that never should have gotten the spotlight, and lackluster gore that can’t decide whether to be fully practical or partially CGI.
