In fact, the beginning of the movie was binding you to the screen but after sometime, the scenes started get lame. It is clear that they have spent time at the CGIs but I got bored towards the end, idk. It is just another timekiller movie for me with some familiar faces from the tv-series. The movie mistakes at the credits were nice though.

I went into this not knowing it was a sequel to the other movies, a Happy surprise! It's pretty good, it's not crazy high budget but definitely a quality SyFy movie.

It's like the bigger their budget became the better the movie turns out.
I was giving a 6 but thanks to Rose it deserves more. She was a badass.

_Skylin3s_ is a thrilling science-fiction adventure films that takes the series in a new direction. Faced with dwindling resources and civil unrest following a war with an invading alien race, the military puts together a mission to recover a fuel source from an uncharted planet. Lindsey Morgan, Rhona Mitra, and Alexander Siddig lead the cast and give solid performances. However, the jump 5 years into the future from the last film (and over the war) is a little jarring and requires a lot of exposition that slows down the pacing. Also, the CGI is rather weak and sticks out from the background in several scenes. Still, the fights scenes are quite good and there are some interesting new creature designs. It’s a different kind of film from the previous two and has some problems, but _Skylin3s_ is an entertaining and fun.

Very enjoyable movie. Well worth a watch :ok_hand:

My favourite girl from the 100, fights side to side with a starship trooper and a power rangers against a predator invasion. Action packed

Ok, a movie featuring Lindsey Morgan, Rhona Mitra and Alexander Siddig? Had to watch that.

It is VERY cheesy at times, the story is the standard sci-fi "we got invaded but we are fighting back" scheme, the twists are predictable, since every sci-fi story does them but somehow it is entertaining.

It gets kind of boring in the middle, but I really liked the end.

Its quality is worthy of a mediocre, old, science fiction series. And, for me, that's all I want to say about this ¿film?

This is an interesting little series of movies. It kind of appeared out of the blue a few years back as a pretty bad sci-fi movie. no one everr thought there would be a sequel... now we have a 2nd sequel - #3 in the series so far.
SFX and CGI seem to be getting better with each sequel. The story keeps plugging along.
It's certainly not a great series, but it kinda works as set of B-movies. The oddest thing is that the sequels keep appearing without an fanfare. I'm fairly certain that they are not done yet, that there are more to come.
I for one will be there to watch them.

For some reason I really like this series, dont remember 1st one, 2nd one only Rose thing was interesting, this one I couldnt stare away. Not original definitely, not the best CGI but I was waiting for it and it didnt disappoint so... nice.

What is this garbage I just watched. It’s a good time waste movie. Need to find new things to watch.

Maybe its me but each one of these just seem to get better and better. Still a fun romp at the 3rd installment!

I remember the film starting and I know that it ended.But as to what happened in the middle, I have no idea. Another bad Skylines movie, and the worst of the 3.

Sadly, none of the Skyline films are fantastic, but yet they are still enjoyable to watch and do get better as they progress.

The first was all CGI and had little storyline, thankfully the second did improve on that. The third had more well known actors, but it didn’t really improve.

I’m confused about the third film: why are all the female actresses in full make up and false eyelashes, when it’s set post apocalyptic and they live in refugee camps in poor conditions?

Additionally, in the third film, I personally found the aliens comedy banter annoying.

They have good potential, creative cgi and costumes and the overall storyline is there. But, they are not refined enough for a blockbuster :(

to pass the time ok, not much more, many dark scenes so that the lack of budget is not seen

Compared to the kast 2 it was like a cheap sci-fi tv show, bad acting cringy dialogs and stupid plot

I thought it was a decent adjunct to the series.
