I like Maleficent and Prince Philip, but the good fairies are a hardship to endure..

A lovely film that incorporates arrangements of Tchaikovsky's ballet. Fantastic animation for it's time, Disney was on top form with this one.

A classic Disney film but does look a tad outdated now.

The last time I saw this movie was when I was a little kid. It was my favorite Disney movie, I always wanted to be Aurora, I even dressed as her for a Halloween party. :D Anyway, I just watched this movie, now as an adult, and well, I still enjoyed it very much! Ofc it's a little bit outdated now, but I think it still has its magical vibe. I still love this movie! Maleficent is my all-time favorite villain. It was nice to have my childhood back for an hour. :))) Oh and: Team Blue Dress!

[7.7/10] I braced myself when cueing up *Sleeping Beauty*. Surely a Disney fairy tale about magical romance, one made sixty years ago no less, would rankle modern sensibilities. Undoubtedly, it would be a bunch of old-fashioned hogwash, the likes of which have been subverted and parodied time and ag More

Further romantic chapters in Disney's well-worn, singing storybook of familiar fairy tales. This one arrives late in the studio's golden period, as the creative staff is beginning to fragment, but the holdovers still know how to tap into the same old magic. Walt Disney was personally adamant More

Beautiful Disney Production Of A Wonderful Fairytale.

When an evil witch places a curse on an infant princess that will cause her to fall into eternal sleep on her 16th birthday, her three fairy godmothers whisk her away to a life of normality and ignorance of her birthright. But can they stave o More

Now then, for any fans of the more recent "Maleficent" films - this is how it is supposed to be done! I think this film goes a long way to explaining why I almost always support the baddies in films. A princess ("Briar Rose") is born and the three good fairies are summoned to the Christening to best More
