Undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs, who has got a lot of enemies, is caught in a high stakes web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground. When a heist goes wrong, a crew of homicidal gangsters get T, Downs’ teenage son. In one sleepless night, he will have to rescue his son T (whom they got), evade an internal affairs investigation and bring the kidnappers to justice.

Wow. This was awful. Great cast. Somehow they forgot to make it interesting. As far as storytelling goes this is a mess. Sometimes I wonder what script writers make in a year. Because I could have written this drunk on the back of a camel last spring and it would have made more sense.

Sleepless made me very sleepy. Quite weak all the way around. Don't waste your time on this garbage of a movie.

_Sleepless_ was a disappointing film that failed to live up to the expectations set by its previews. The story was underwhelming and lacked depth, leaving me feeling uninvested in the characters' journey. However, the movie did have some decent action scenes that had my attention at times. Despite this, it fell short of its potential and should have been a better film. Overall, the movie was a forgettable experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying action-thriller.

**A night of twist and turn events.**

Maybe if you haven't seen the original, you will enjoy it, particularly if you like a thrilling clash between the cops and gangsters. For me this is the third version from the last three consecutive years. After the original French film based on the same name More

A far cry from the worst film of the year, but it does seem surprising that someone as talented as Jamie Foxx would bother with something this overpoweringly generic.
