Looks like Guy Ritchie really knows how to do an entertaining flick involving gangsters of all kinds with the most particular skills and abilities.

Once again, an after the great Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels he did and amazing job with Snatch. It could not have worked well because I think the themes are very similiar just with a few changes in the story, but the truth is the two are equally great!

He presents us the most hilarious characters, with the most excellent dialogues and a lot of memorable lines into a very well structured plot. His visual style and edition are once again amazing!

All of the performances are fantastic, especially Brad Pitt that it was my favourite as the crazy gypsy boxer. I think Jason Statham should do a lot more films like this two. I really enjoyed to see him in this kind of role than in the last few roles that he has been doing lately.

Overall, a fantastic comedy!

I almost thought this was a great movie. The characters are unique, fun and intriguing. The story is different from the usual. The film-editing is eye-catching. I was almost laughing, almost excited, almost drawn into the story, but for some unexplainable reason it just didn't do it for me. I kept waiting for the film to turn it up just one notch, to suck me in, but it didn't happen. That just sucks, because I really liked the characters, the boxing/diamond setting and the squeaking dog...

I love it when several stories converge to an incredible ending.

Slow start, at the end the score follows the progression of the film.

Genres: Crime, Thriller and Comedy.
I laughed more in this film than in many "comedy" films.

Very good ending. Excellent surprise.

By the way, how was "Boris" alive?

I don't find is as good as I once did but I still enjoy it. I don't enjoy some of the dialogue as I once did. The characters are huge cartoon stereotypes and the farcial plot moves along fast. The pace tricks you into thinking the plot is more complex than it is. The movie has moments of forcing style down your neck but I didn't mind it. In time it's become unique.

Guy Ritchie is an acquired taste. It is unique, stylish, confusing, yet clever. It will not be for everyone, but if it clicks, it REALLY clicks. I appreciate it more than I like it, but it certainly worth checking out!

Really couldn't enter into it, the movie is so much self-aware of itself, you just feel like looking at a showcase of the director and actors skills but this doesn't make an actual movie

It hasn’t aged perfectly, but this is very entertaining and memorable.
I get the comparisons to Tarantino, and while it’s clearly inspired by his work, Tarantino didn’t invent quirky characters or snappy dialogue.
The cinematography and lighting are a bit dated, the acting isn’t always perfect (Jason Statham often falls back on a similar flow and delivery; you can tell he was just starting his acting career), but that’s masked pretty nicely by the dialogue.
The comedy, music and individual scenes are still very enjoyable years after it’s release, so I think this is rightfully considered to be an indie classic. It’s lacking the emotion and substance to be a true masterpiece, but every now and then we deserve an indie film that’s just here to entertain.

I felt the dialogue was very forced and for instance the humor at times felt a bit unnecessary. Not my favourite.

Snatch is a good movie. I had pretty high expectations because of its IMDB score and It lived up to my expectations. This is by far the funniest Guy Riche movie the humor just flows and never misses a beat. The plot is great it’s paced well and the two stories are entertaining and the dog is great. The acting is good Brad Pitt has the most confusing accent and it’s the best. The editing in the opening scene is different and the cinematography is alright. Overall it’s a good gangster with great humor movie nothing more nothing less.

Snatch is probably the most definitive movie of Guy Ritchie's career. The script moves two stories at the same time very effortlessly and his style has probably never been put to better use. The huge ensemble cast is great with everyone getting the opportunity to shine and there is a lot of underappreciated humor. Snatch is a must watch for people enjoy a solid crime movie.

Wow, I remember loving this movie the few times I had seen it over a decade ago, but I am bumping up the score on this one. Might be the film that has the most "best" characters. Everyone I talk to that watches this loves a different character, and I love most of them.

Hilarious and thoroughly enjoyable.

Still holds up after 20 years - and surprisingly it's Statham's acting that is perhaps the worst in the film.

Great to see Mike Reid in this. Wonderful character and a fine actor.

And the character of Bricktop is one for the ages. Brilliantly written. (Go watch his guest appearance on 'Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge' as the boxing promoter *cough*cough*nobody mention Frank Warren*cough*cough*)

It's a riot from start to finish. Ritchie's best.

Amazing how a bunch of coincidences can result in a great and funny story. The actings are great (specially Brad Pitt). The plot reminds me a lot Pulp Fiction, but the editing has faster cuts, so the movie looks more modern and chaotic.
