I actually found this one to be probably my single favorite out of the entire _Sniper_ franchise. The story was good, the acting was good (granted, a bit lame in a few scenes, but overall still decent), the lighting was good throughout - even the night scenes - and I thought the musical score did justice without being too overwhelming. (There _was_ one scene where the score kind of overshadowed everything that was happening, but it was short-lived.) Oddly enough, one of the strangest things, perhaps, to appeal to me about this particular movie was them simply having Tom Berenger play the part of an "old man"...They didn't try to turn back the hands of time and make him a war-hardened, tough-as-nails, "I can still kick butt" that managed to fist-fight and jiu jitsu his way out of trouble; he really (very accurately) portrayed the character of just a tired old soldier who's living with some regrets, but has (for the most part) managed to make peace with himself and his son. The shortlived return to sniping…well, that's just pure muscle memory, and again, he plays it up very well. Some decent supporting cast (nothing to be amazed at, though) adds to the flavor of this one, and even though you pretty much know how it's going to end up, it still has a nice ring to it all. To my knowledge, this is the last of the franchise (although they left room for a continuation) and again, I'd have to say this was probably my favorite out of all of them. Well worth watching!
