Sniper: Special Ops is a war film that is pretty bad on so many levels. I hate when they promote films using the biggest star in the film, only to find them be a small part of it. Steven Seagal is the biggest star involved, he's on the cover of the DVD. He only has a minor role here and is not the leading man as he just sits around doing nothing. He also just is not cut out for these movies anymore. He is far too old. Tim Abell had the best performance and Rob Van Dam was not very good. Script is full of clichés and incredibly basic. The action never really expands beyond boring shootouts. Just hard to find anything that makes this worth watching. 2/10

Poor on so many levels, only gave it 5 and that was mainly due to the acting of Tim Abell. SS needs to pack in making movies.

Solid movie. One of those good for a weekend viewing of action and explosion. I do not know how much of a spoiler this is but if you are watching this movie hoping to see some Seagal hand to hand action you will be disappointed. However, his shooting skills more than make up for it. Rob Van Dam strikes a view WWE poses and Tim Abell is the Sergeant you want leading your men into battle.
