This was quite the movie. It had a shoestring budget and just a few effects. The story was a bit muddled at times, but...
...but ... somehow this movie/story pulled me in from the very beginning and kept my attention the whole way thru.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

The common bond you can find with a stranger when you both just want something to matter in your lives. The twist and turns keep you guessing on what is real and what isn’t, honestly this movie kind of lost me in the middle as it continues to undercut its own plot. But this is all deliberate and completely won me back by the ending. I will be thinking about this for a while.

Aiming to be smart and contemporary self referential cerebral untrustworthy narrator mockumentary, having moments and the sympathetic Levi character, it unfortunately ends up long and rambling.

Too long but at least the pair at the centre of it all kept it afloat with their strong performances.

So if your familiar with Benson and Moore, than you will definitely like this movie. You’ll appreciate the subtle dry humor along with a storyline that leads you down the path of mystery. Now on the flip side, for a lot of people, you’ll consider this a slow burn, who’ll probably wish they can get their time back afterwards as they wonder, what was the entire point of the movie to begin with?!?!

After watching for 20 minutes, I read the reviews, and decided to persist. I should have gone with my gut.

I get cheap movie, and it kind of fits the niche. And I don't expect to see A-grade actors in every production. But I see little reason to recommend this movie.

What an interesting movie… the production progresses along with the story from a low res handheld mess through some very funny insights to its glorified culmination… well worth sticking through the first bit…

Two neighbors try to film and document the supernatural occurences happening in one of their appartements. A strange rock seems to be the cause of it.

From the makers of *The Endless* and *Resolution*, Moorhead and Benson bring yet another mind-bending indie low-fi sci-fi. I like pretty much all of their other work but this time I really wasn't impressed. There's some comedy mixed in but it never really worked for me and the supernatural elements are very mundane and uninteresting especially when the laughable floating rock is involved. The bonding between our two characters who were strangers before was compelling but there's too much banal and useless talk which makes the movie feel a lot longer than it already is. Pair that with an overly complicated mystery it's like it's begging for the audience to get lost and lose attention... well it completely lost me halfway through I didn't know what was going on anymore. My least favorite of their work, haven't seen *Synchronic* yet though.

[Strike Media] Although less successful than their previous films, this is an interesting reflection on the obsessions in conspiracy theories. A kind of game full of absurd humor that leads to clues that lead to others, like an endless matryoshka that defines the structure of a story from points of view: the narrative, the documentary filmed by the protagonists and that of reality that is shown through real videos.
