Sonic was just so absolutely cute in this adaptation- and can we just appreciate how they didn’t go with the original design? I really wouldn’t be as empathetic to sonic as I am terrified of him if that happened..

[spoiler]Anywho, as some pointed out, it’s inconsistent in relation to Sonics powers. He can stop time (kinda), u will see rockets which r faster than the reaction of the human body, being stopped while Eggmans finger is moving slowly (which shouldn’t be moving at all) towards the button. Other times u will probably wonder why the heck doesn’t Sonic just go superspeed on Eggmans drones and inventions rather than just letting them hit him and almost kill him at LEAST 3 times.[/spoiler]

BUT it’s a cartoon, if physics and common sense don’t work then why the heck is an English talking blue hedgehog who has lightning in his FUR and can be named The Flash from another world, with a ring that increases in size and delivers its handler to wherever they can think of (dimension or city) even existing?

Am just super happy of how it turned out, even more happy because of the disadvantages the team had overcame to deliver this movie HOW WE LIKE IT. It could’ve been worse, but this movie did stand out to me cuz the endless empathetic scenes that sonic has. I just wanna hold the damn creature and hug the living lights out of him. Kinda sad they won’t benefit from merch as sonic isn’t exactly an original character of theirs so their hard work has to come from the money of cinemas or movie purchase. Idk if there r other mediums ppl get money for their released movies but u get what I mean).
