I thought it was a pretty cool and fun movie. I love how all 5 stories play off if one another. I also like the setting and the environment it takes place in.

I liked the way that the different stories just flowed into the next one. Interesting way to do it.

This has been on my list to catch up for a few years, I remember seeing some really positive reviews for it, but after starting it I knew a few minutes in it wasn't going to live up to my somewhat lofty expectations. It was watchable for an indie film, but none of the stories really stood out and were forgettable.

This is a Horror Anthology with 5 stories loosely tied together. The first segment features two men, who have just been involved in something horrible, being pursued by desert demons. This is the best part of the movie. The other segments make zero sense other than to disgust you with gore. If you think a woman's leg falling off at the knee, shoving your entire forearm into some live person's chest, or blowing a person's head off from close range with a shotgun is scary, this one's for you! There's plenty of stabbings and some suffocation for you, so enjoy!

I keep trying to find movies that are actually scary and not repulsive with little success. And stop comparing this to "The Twilight Zone". "Southbound" isn't comparable in the least.

If you're hanging out with 4 people and only one of them is a little boring, do you still have fun? Of course you do, and it's the same thing with this anthology horror film.

The trouble with anthologies connected story films like this? There's always one or two that are really bad, often feel wedged in...
Like the incredibly stupid middle with the emergency room. Dumb dumb dumb.
Not a great horror movie but at least it tried something different. One road I won't be travelling on again, however.

I love anthology films, and I'm so glad that they're having a bit of a renaissance lately. This was a fun one, but ultimately, not a memorable one.

I would have loved to see a whole film dedicated to the opening/closing segment, as it has awesome effects and looked to be a great premise. I feel like this whole film could have benefited from dropping the segment of the dude looking for his sister, thereby giving the rest of the pieces more time.

Overall, this was a fun watch, but ultimately forgettable.

Cool horror anthology! All the stories were well done. I love the seamless transition between stories. Really this one was super fun to watch. It was full of suspense and nice amount of gore! Highly recommended!

Pretty cool, kinda creepy at times. Gives off vibes similar to Silent Hill / Resident Evil, considering how it appears these people are
trapped in their own personal purgatory
.
