Misery crossed with an overdose of voodoo. Pretty good effort although it didn't quite put a spell on me.

fun cheesy horror with plenty of over the top gore. an occult tyler perry's misery does describe the exact vibe so i'm going to agree with other comments saying that. the only thing that really made the movie NOT an enjoyable watch was the executive decision to blow out every single source of light instead of just flames? it was so jarring and weird to see things like a flashlight be bright, high saturation gold and yellow when the rest of the film colorizing is a blue-green desaturated kind of deal, during scenes at night. the color balance during daytime scenes was lovely and clearly done by someone good at their job, but the overall editing was just. an odd choice.

My wife asked me what the movie was about.. the only thing I could think of was a Black Misery... A Bl-isery if you will, if it was written and directed by the guy who did Titanic II.

it better to be a short film.
the characters don't have any logic. idk perhaps its a fiction? when you're trapped in a room and the police came, and you have a visual. what you gonna do? screaming?? I would make an ear-splitting noise to get the police's a More
