For the "story of the month," Coline, a contributor to a women's magazine, is sent deep into the Pyrenees to interview Simon, a rather wild artist who claims his mother appeared to him at the precise moment she died. _Les Envoûtés_ is a romance that resembles chicken in the freezer: cold, pale and dead, but with breasts. It's like they take everything you don't like about love and make a movie about it. Or maybe I'm being too harsh? It's possible, after all I was pretty distracted by the steady flow of people walking out of the theater... At least the twist at the end is so obvious you can spot it all the way from the beginning. Seriously, if you're one of those who can never predict the surprise ending, you should see this film so you can finally see one coming.
