I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
I wish I could just..wish away my feelings.

Anakin going from a overly cheerful kid in Phantom Menace to a whiny moody and creepy emo doesn't exactly work. Yet I don't get the hate for this film nevertheless. The arena battle scene is exciting and fun. Obi Wan vs Jango Fett is also a under-rated scene.
While we finally got to see Yoda kick some ass even if that scene is pretty silly. No one ever expected Yoda to be as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog.
I think what gets the hate for this one; is the romance scenes between Padme and Anakin. The lines are awful in those scenes and there's a lack of chemistry. Still, I choose Attack of the Clones over Phantom Menace any day.

I had great hopes for Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones after the let down of Episode I. I thought that it would get better but it ended up being even worse.

I was expecting to see how Anakin Skywalker developed his training and how he finally became a Jedi. I guess that would have been interesting to see. George Lucas was more concerned about creating one of the worst love stories in cinema! Anakin and Padmé's love story seems so forced! Their scenes together were supposed to be romantic but in fact they bored me a lot. Also their dialogues, well all dialogues in the film are absolutely terrible!

Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman had no chemistry! Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman are two great actors but this plot couldn't do nothing for their performances, poor guys. Hayden Christensen is just bad, very bad. They should have chosen another actor to play the role.

Yoda is still awesome!

I remember seeing this when it came out, I was 11 and when Yoda came out to fight Dooku I burst into laughter. I don't know why I thought it was so funny but Yoda jumping around like that is still hilarious to me.

Pretty good third act but the movie is brought down a lot by the "love story". The Obi-Wan finding the clones story line is very interesting but they keep going back to Anakin and Padme and it just kills the fun. And boy did I forget how whiny Hayden Christensen was. Probably the worst Star Wars but still a decent movie.

Lucas continues his epically bad Star Wars prequel trilogy with Episode II – Attack of the Clones. The story kicks into high gear as the Galactic Senate takes up a bill to form an Army of the Republic. Yes, it’s that exciting. With Hayden Christensen in the lead, the acting gets even worse than it was in Episode I. But that’s not all, the CGI effects are horrendously awful too. However, Lucas does ramp up the action and dials back Jar Jar Binks to a minimal role. And despite its many, many flaws, a lot of the film is pretty entertaining in one way or another. Attack of the Clones is a poorly made film that’s painful to watch, but like any car wreck it’s hard to look away.

3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones’:

1. The Yoda/Dooku battle fuels my soul.
2. This might be my least fave film of the series. That may change after I watch ‘Rogue One’ or ‘Solo’. Maybe not.
3. Is it just me, or is it kinda hard to follow the politics of this whole prequel trilogy?

I definitely think this is the worst of the prequels. Way too much whiny Anakin. It has some good moments, and it sets up The Clone Wars TV series very well, but there's just so much crap to wade through.

I liked it better than the first one. I found the battles more interesting, the clone battle and the sable fights against Count Dooku, magnificently interpreted by Christopher Lee. I liked the action, the plot, the intrigues and the plot twist that created for next movies. For SW fans of course it was not a plot twist because the knew exactly what would come, but as a whole story I think it works great.

I didn't like the visual effects though, I found them cartoon-like and some characters seem exactly like cartoons.

Music is great as always but I think it is better used in this movie than in the previous one.

I had rated it 5 but now that I saw it again I changed to 7. Not taking Lee's performance into account, none of the actors are more than OK.
