Stash House is your typical home invasion B movie that fails to deliver any real thrills. The opening scene had no real relevance to the movie at all really. It is mentioned later but it never comes to anything. I have never been a fan of Sean Faris and he is still no better here. I am just not a fan of his. Briana Evigan gave a slightly better performance from the couple but is really let down by the atrocious screenplay. Some of the things they do just didn't make a whole lot of sense. A lot of it was very unrealistic. Dolph was by far the best thing about the movie, but even he couldn't save it. I really like him as an antagonist, he is very intimidating and suits the role well. Unfortunately, he it takes a while for him to show up and when he does, he just strolls around not doing much until the end climax. Despite the climax having some of the worst police I think I have seen, it was the most exciting part in the whole movie. It has boring dialogue and a lot of boring scenes. The lighting I found to be quite too dark in the house and was struggling to see what was happening at times. That may have been down to my setup. In the end, a bland thriller with poorly written characters.
