Another successful horror anthology that doesn't fall apart and stays consistently good all the way through. That's not surprising since director Jason K. Lau writes and directs every segment himself. In the wraparound, they have this rules that each tale must have three items: a supernatural tale, a character with green eyes, and set in Japan. All of them are surprisingly imaginative, goofy, perhaps way too cheesy at times, but still thoroughly entertaining. The first segment is probably the cheesiest of them all, involving school bullies where you have a bullied lead character who's ridiculously attractive, but it's set during a Halloween dance party so that's always a plus. The urban legend one about Slit Mouth Woman is decent and suitably spooky as well. The wraparound, although stays lighthearted, is still a fun watch with a cool twist on it.
