I'm starting to think that the older a DCOM is, the better it will be. Less suspension of disbelief required, less heavy-handed with The Moral of the Story… Sure, even the old ones aren't _great_ films, but there's a charm to the earlier stuff that's missing from more recent productions.

Stuck in the Suburbs" is like a nostalgic time capsule of teen dreams and adventure. It's got the perfect blend of goofy shenanigans, girl power, and a catchy pop song that'll stick in your head for days. If you're in the mood for some lighthearted fun and a dash of early 2000s fashion, this Disney Channel classic is a must-watch!

Decent watch, probably won't watch again, and can't really recommend.

The movie is good enough. Danielle Panabaker and Brenda Song do a good job carrying most of the movie, but I don't know told Taran Killam he could play a teen pop star.
