What I admire about Full Moon is you know what they make is low budget, but it doesn't stop them from being ambitious and trying to make a great film. _Subspecies_ is not a great film, but it's also not terrible.
This is a pretty standard vampire movie, it has all the tropes of a gothic horror, only set in the time it was made.
From a technical prospective, this is pretty good; the editing, and special effects are a little dodgy, but acceptable.
Being that this is a vampire movie, I think I should mention our bloodsucker himself, Radu. He is a mix of old, and new: that is to say, Count Orlok meets Robert Smith.
Yeah, not much to say about this one: it's a vampire movie from Full Moon, what do you want? It's not as good as _Puppet Master_ (1989), though if you like B horror, it's totally worth a watch.
