Carey Mulligan owning each moment while turning from passive working class women into a fighter for the cause. Honestly i expected more but still worth the watch

Extremely disappointing. Manages to feel like a 3 hour movie at 1.5 hours. Awfully shot, especially when the camera gets shaky during more action-packed sequences, and a weak script. The production design is good, so are some of the performances. That's about it.

Worthy, impassioned drama, that still has relevance today. Isn't it about time we were all treated equally, regardless of age, gender, and sexuality?

There was some really good acting and it is an interesting and engaging part of history. Overall this was good - could of been better though.

‪I knew this movie would affect me, but I didn’t think it would be to this degree. Every other scene hit me like a ton of bricks and made me cry. In my side of the world, this is still 100% relevant. ‬Incredible performance from all the cast. However, the directing could’ve been better.

La storia della lunga battaglia che portò al riconoscimento dei diritti per le donne narrata con efficacia in un film che vuole ripercorrere i sacrifici di chi decise di unirsi alla ribellione. Interessante.

Today, people take their 'Right to Vote' in such an unappreciative way, choosing all to often to say "I can't be bothered" or "My vote makes no difference"

Here we see the fight for women to obtain the vote based on a true story of a band of women. Women who wanted the vote, not to be political, but so that as (roughly 50% of the population) they had a say in their own lives

A great film then, largely, with the exception that the involvement of Meryl Streep was so fleeting it was hardly worth her being in the cast list. Seriously, not even 5 minutes. A rousing speech and she is gone. I think they could have used another actress or at least not made such a 'focal' of Meryl being in the movie, she didn't have opportunity to add much after all.
