This was Sid Haig's last film before his death on September 21, 2019. He was 80 years old.
R.I.P. You are truly missed. His iconic "Captain Spalding" on Rob Zombies... House of 1000 corpses, The Devil's Rejects were my favs.
OK, back to this movie... It's horrible, the only reason I watched it, obviously I'm a Sid Haig fan. Shamefully, what this movie had was in no particular order:

1). Great title
2). Great/catchy movie poster (w/Sid Haig)
3). Sid Haig

This movie was barely watchable, stupid writing, not scary, Not about suicide (there is NO reason why to include it in the title, my guess simply... "Click bait".
Considering Haig's death in September of 2019, these idiots decide @ 56 months later to release this film. Shitty way to make a dollar director Craig Thieman, pathetic.
Considering Sid Haig famously played in alot of grudge, exploitation 70's / 80's films that were great, this director used (mentioned above) a few minutes of name recognition and screen time to trick the viewer.
Don't get me wrong I'm huge Horror fan, and kinda kn what to expect when these movies come out. Even B- titled straight to DVD I'm OK with. But this movie "Suicide For Beginners" is stupid, waaaay beyond words.
