I dont care for this animation style, reminds me of cheap shockwave animations from the 2000s. The story is ok but i dont think anyone really needed another early years story. I would love to see the Superman movies 1-3 reimagined in animation :ok_hand_tone1:

You know, I don't know how many times they're going to retell Superman's story. Although the stories are slightly different, the retelling of Superman's origins kind of getting old. Sometimes I think these "new" superman movies are more about subtly inject political messages, as they're aware that there are many DC and Marvel fans. I'm not going to say this movie was terrible, but at the same time I wouldn't consider this a "must see."

Two words: dumb and lazy. So many things made absolutely no sense; A kaiju is coming at them and what do people do? They start protesting it…who the hell protests a kaiju? Then they scream for their lives because…its coming at them…who would’ve thought? Lois miraculously knows the monster absorbs feelings? Martian Manhunter breaking the only thing that is able to stop this monster just because??? So braindead. I actually could not believe it. There is also the trash writing; Every detail is just spoon-fed and some of the dialogue is actually cringe. I would forgive this if the movie wasn’t devoid of any logic, but it stacked up. I am not expecting an oscar-worthy movie, but at the very least make it make sense.

Decent enough animated movie that, even though its another origin for the Man of Steel, didn't feel stale and has a good enough story and fun side characters including Martian Manhunter and Lobo, the latter hopefully will show up in future animated movies in this new animated universe.
