A very good and varied comedy. Takes a bit of time to really start off, first as a let's say low class comedy, mostly based on the main trio being a bit stupid. Jokes include passing around a bottle of urine in the car, a boat made of inflatable sex dolls, or tearing apart pants while fishing.

Then events take a more serious turn when they come across small time gangsters (seems like it's mandatory in Kazakh films) killing a guy and they now have to escape. This is the first scene that goes way beyond the level of a small time comedy, and the way it's filmed, with individual cameras close to their face, following their movements as they are frantically trying to escape, really make you feel their terror, while at the same time emphasizing the funny faces they make.

And then the best part. While on the road, the gangsters accidentally kill a dog whose owner turn out to be an old super soldier that will seek revenge. I don't think he's named, so for simplicity I'll call him John Wick. John Wick is the perfect killer. Silent (actually doesn't speak), sneaky, fast, ruthless. Every time he will kill a gangster, our trio of friends will find the corpse first, and be there when the others arrive, making them even more a target while they ignore John Wick's existence.

If this wasn't enough, in the middle, you can add a creepy old man capturing our hero to marry him to his equally creepy daughter.

There's another great scene as one of them is walking around John Wick's house, trying to avoid detection. Yes, this is a pretty old comedic device, but boy is it well done there.

In the end it's really using a wide spectre of comedy, from the most stupid to the darkest, while maintaining tension and surprises for most of the movie's length. Really an impressive job.
