The personality that oozes (heh) from this movie is off the charts, from the dramatically scratchy art style to the oh-so-New-York soundtrack. It's so refreshing to have Ninja Turtles who are actually teenagers and act accordingly, and their brotherhood is palpable and endearing throughout. It's frantic, it's frenetic, it's fraternal and it's fun. A great return for form for the Turtles that's a blast as a standalone movie as well. We're really in a renaissance for animated movies after what feels like a few years of phoned in ideas and dull sequels. Now to await the inevitable sequel and see how they handle
Shredder
.

As an older fan of the TMNT franchise, this one was genuinely fun. Enjoyed the animation style and the sound track was fitting. It had a simple plot but it didn’t need anymore. Looking forward to the next one.

The animation was so cool and the whole film was so fun with them acting like teenagers
Watch to chill and laugh not to be very serious action

Super cute lil' film with groovy animation and a great sound track / score. Definitely the best feature length TMNT IMO. My tween son who's never watched TMNT and pretty much only likes YouTube and video games was captivated and cracked up several times...

6.7/10. The first TMNT feature that actually portrays the Turtles as teenagers, and stands on its own for that. The film is authentic, strange and goofy, with an art style to match. While not a masterpiece (people expecting Spider Verse meets TMNT will be let down), it’s an important entry in the franchise where a lot has been done already. I’d be more interested in a sequel of them in high school (which is teased).

The only character that felt out of place was April. Both the lines and voice acting didn’t fit the lighthearted nature of the other characters.

I grew up watching the original cartoon, and having the ability to take my 2 kids to the theater to see this was just amazing. They loved it, I loved it, this movie just made me feel a lot of nostalgia, and seeing my kids loving it was just an amazing cherry on top!

A bit different than other Ninja Turtles movies and shows. Though it is pretty charming.

Animation has to be by far one of the worse. They tried to hard to be original but it just looks horrible. Awkward proportions, Movement terribly unrealistic. Resemblance of badlands. That alone made for a terrible watch.

Voice actors were also terribly casted.

Storyline was not the best.

Very charming and fun. I loved the dynamic of the teenagers as it felt very realistic. The animation is stunning and I'm glad that each character got enough screen time. Some dialogue was borderline cringe, but they're teens so it makes sense. It was very funny and I loved the overall message. Leonardo was my favorite because of him figuring out what it means to be a leader, which is a good lesson for kids. Older people have a lot to enjoy as well. Splinter was a lot better than I thought he was going to be. The structure as a whole was a bit too fast at times and some of the writing could have had improvements, but overall a great family film.

It's definitely a movie aimed more at kids, given all the references, but I think it's still enjoyable for everyone. Stellar animation, solid voice acting, and great writing. The story wasn't great, but it was good enough. It's much better than the live action films, in my opinion.

I would never have chosen to see this… but my daughter HAD to go, so we went. I appreciate that they were trying to do something different with the animation, but it just wasn’t that great to watch. And the plot was weak. Too many villains, and the most important one should have found the light in my opinion. The turtles were cute. But meh.

This movie is a ton of fun, it may have been my little to no expectations but this might actually be 4/5 stars. The turtles feel like teens in all of the fun and annoying right ways, they keep it simple and it works.

First off the Animation was excellent and similar to the “spider-verse” franchise. The film has a solid story about family, friendship and overcoming your fears. It’s simple yet meaningful. The story was obviously written for a more younger and modern audience, having references to TikTok dances and other things pop culture. As a 2003 and 2012 TMNT fan it did take some getting used to but by the end of the movie I loved almost everything about this. Can’t wait to see what’s next, 8/10.

The animation in Mutant Mayhem is incredible and the soundtrack truly elevates the film. The voice casting, particularly Ice Cube, is perfect and the pop-culture references are great. The only aspect holding the film back is the story.
