Worthy of the name Terminator and nothing like Salvation with Christian Bale. The latter is a decent action flick while not a "true" Terminator movie and its only selling point was the name Terminator in the title and maybe Christian Bale on the poster..
This on the other hand is a good and modern continuation of Judgment Day (as this movie was said to connect to) with Schwarzenegger back in his perhaps most iconic role.
Liked it.

The movie is fun, lots of over-the-top action (some are so extremely impossible that they were funny), and of course Arnold with his famous "I'll be back" and other well known sayings. I felt really nostalgic watching him, it's like nothing has changed since I was a little kid. All the time-traveling and changing the timelines was mostly understandable, so the story is not bad either, but the main plus is Arnold, nice to see him back, as he said he would be :)

This movie is a insult, from the cast (worst Sarah Connor ever) to the cheated storyline, nothing in this movie saves, if you liked TERMINATOR 1 and 2 you can't like this garbage. ZERO.

This movie is an unfortunate mess.

There are way too many characters and story lines that added nothing to the Terminator lore. The movie still banks on the success of the first 2 movies, where it replays scenes and situations in their entirety but in the end feels very hollow. None of the actors carry their characters well, they are 1 dimensional and paper thin. When the plot is not driving the dialogue we are made to endure cringe worthy jokes and whinging nothings. Instead of killing SkyNet, this franchise should have been destroyed once James Cameroon left the helm.

A fun mess, I guess. The special effects were great and all the action well executed, I'll give them that, but the story line wasn't. I think that the whole time traveling was a bit too much, even though it was well work it. And I didn't liked too much this Sarah Connor, I mean, for me is not a character for Emilia Clark, Sarah is tough and messy, and Clark is simply beautiful and cute, and despite she tries to do it good (and at times she does) just don't work, not for me. On the other hand, was good to see the original Terminator once again, Arnold just own the character, and proves it in the film.

Plothole 1. John Connor will never fight Arnie, seeing it was the only father figure he ever knew since Terminator 2. Same model, or not. FFS its the future Arnie who killed John connor in the resistance who got sent back to protect his childhood counterpart. (BIGGEST PLOT HOLE IMO).

Plothole 2. John Connor will never side with Skynet. Sarah Connor bred him since birth to despise them and taught him all their weaknesses. I HIGHLY doubt he'd turn to the dark side with just a flick of a finger.

Plothole 3. They never did explain where Sarah's Terminator came from or who sent it... NEVER!

Plothole 4. So it seems Salvation which is a better move IMO is not cannon. What BS!

I hate when movies go the Xmen days of future past route and show all the die hard fans the finger for not keeping the story coherent.

I can't even with this movie. The plot holes and fundamental paradoxes at the center of this entire series are hard enough to stomach with a suspension of disbelief, but this movie takes it to a whole new level. I didn't even pay attention to most of it, and I have the feeling I would have been just as confused and bored even if I had been invested.

To me the Terminator franchise dropped the ball by not just having part 4 continue the story directly after part 3. Part 4 should have started out with John Connor's first days during the apocalypse.
I think a more interesting story was missed out on. That doesn't mean they should keep going and going to try and get it right. Especially Since Genisys isn't as fresh of start for the series as it wants to be.
The movie feels too much like it wants to be as good as the second one. But that's hard to do when there's all action and brains.

Was very bad, i dont know why this movie is in terminator saga, but i give 5 by action but the rest of movie was bad.

this story is lame... please change the subject. we are tired of terminator repeating this story for 20 years! try something else! only a machine wants to kilk Sarah and John! this terminator has nothing more than previous ones! and also this was so complex with too many characters...
