Bah...what to say. Disappointing..? So much talking...and that's all. I get it's a gore movie and all...but it's not even make sense.. people staying alive like highlanders.. It's not even scary..it's just makes you uncomfortable i guess..if you never watched a horror movie maybe. I also understand it doesn't need a story to tell...it is what it is, but if the scenes aren't a bit credible, it doesn't even scare you..it got you..disgusted.. It's like humans are made out of butter in this movie.. And the most incredible thing is how the heck the clown managed to make his "uniform" so white with just a wash.
If you like horror...move forward..
Then..for a movie with a 250k $ budget..respect...but..

Huge disappointment. Way longer than it needed to be. Cut out an hour of filler. A step back from the first. Weak family characters. Some decent gore scene but overall disappointed.

Haha that kid is literally the Poljack meme. That's all I have to say, same amateurish filmmaking and silly gore as the last one. Still had to watch it on high speed to get through it. Why is it blowing up? Marketing?

terrifier 2 is terrifying but not in a good way, I liked this one more than the second one but that doesn't mean it's good, it's fun to watch with a friend so you can laugh and make jokes with the characters' stupid decisions, the movie has a long length, some parts are pure nonsense, the movie fills you with gore in your face, without explaining why or anything, it's just made to shock people, and the heavy gore is made to distract people from how ridiculous this is real movie, I was in disbelief and thought it was really funny when I saw that the girl's father just had a premonition of her killing the clown, it's so ridiculous! especially the end of the movie, which until then was even fun to watch, but then her knife just glowed and healed her wound, giving her the strength to kill the clown as if it were in a shonen anime? it's funny enough, I would give it a 5, but as the experience was funny, it deserved a 6.

The film is well made and the special effects are great. But this is still sick stuff that would have been (rightfully) banned back during the 'video nasty' era.

As far as horror sequels go, this is an extremely solid slasher which offers higher body count and more absurdity, though unfortunately less coherent. I loved _Terrifier_ and its memorable slasher icon. Although on paper this film offers much more than what the first film does, it doesn't mean this film is necessarily better. With such a low budget, this film totally delivers. The practical effects and the kills are all top notch, and Art's performance is so entertaining to watch. Sadly, the film is way longer than it needed to be. Probably over half of its runtime, it feels strangely directionless, meanders for far too long and veers into the land of self-indulgence at times. There's so much passion they put into this that it gets a little loss in their own self-indulgence. A 30 minute of the runtime could easily be shaved off and the film would be better for it. That being said, this is still such an incredibly fun film, and I'm sure most horror fans will have an absolute great time watching this.

The sequel is also not a great movie, but it is fun to watch. I actually liked this one a little more than the original Terrifier (2016)
The sequel is just as hilarious but is a bit more gruesome.
There were more quality deaths in this one and just so much violence.
And, I have to say this. . . (probably going to get myself in trouble here). . . Lauren LaVera is a beautiful young lady.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

Not as good as the first in terms of story and pacing, but I watch these kinds of movies for the effects. I appreciate the vast use of practical effects.

Much like the first it coasts on the practical effects alone but holy shit is it a chore to get through, feels like it just keeps going and going. I didn’t necessarily dislike the expansion of the lore it just could have been streamlined. Props to the mashed potato scene

Absolutely astounding! I’ve been anticipating this sequel for years and after many delays, it was very much worth the wait. There’s just so much to love about Art The Clown and his cruel, creative ways. This movie really fleshes out some of the lore behind Art, and adds a whole bunch of new vectors of fear. I was stoked to hear Boy Harsher made the OST as well. Anyway, I can’t wait to buy this film to own when it’s out of theaters. One scene caused some normies to walk out of the theater, but if you’re s slasher fan, you’ll very much enjoy this film unlike those yellowbellies. I could go on and on about each scene, but I don’t wanna spoil even with spoiler tags. 10/10

3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Terrifier 2’:

1. Just as with the original, they really captured the 80s horror vibe so impeccably well. The score, the shots… these creators really knew what they were doing.

2. Equally as brutal as the original. But each film has their own strengths and weaknesses. This sequel certainly had better acting, stronger characters, and a more fleshed-out story. But there was something more horrifying about Art in the first film, when he was seemingly just a very real and sadistic man in a dirty clown suit. I feel like the supernatural elements took away a fraction of the terror. It didn’t spoil the film, but there was definitely a shift here in its tone.

3. Apparently, I need Art to come wash my whites.
