Totally above my expectations, I didn't think I would like it, since the first one is shit.

Terrifier 2 has a plot, and a decently written one at that, covering this 2h20m, a fair length in my opinion, with a beautiful setting, gore scenes, funny but at the same time scary/scary gags by Art, an alternate which I really enjoyed (how much I laughed when he was trying on glasses in the costume store).

As for the acting, I liked the main character, she acted well, the mom's performance was the best, otherwise everyone else was decent

I get to 1h45m into the movie and say "Wow but it's really good this Terrifier 2! I didn't think that..." and then comes the ending. My God how much I hated this thing about the magic sword stitching up his wound, how much I hated that the movie ended like this, with the little girl taking Art's head and leaving, with the two main characters hugging each other. What happened to "man without a penis?" And what are the consequences of all that happened? Okay, they want to make a sequel, I get that, but personally I don't like open endings at all. And I also don't like it when in the movies, randomly, some mystical power, coming out of nowhere and only when death is near, saves the day. I would have preferred a more realistic, less mystical ending.

In conclusion, Terrifier 2 I consider it a good movie, beautiful until the last half hour ; maybe I consider it as such because I had very low expectations seeing the first one and thinking that it was just a slasher/gore movie with totally random killings and without a logical reason, I left thinking "OK, I'm going to watch a shitty movie." But no, I spent 2h20m entertained by Art's gags and the horror setting present in the film
