It seems like I've watched this previously but I don't remember it being this good; I'm wondering if I watched the "old" version (which didn't seem all that great). In any event, some of the best advice about this movie I found by reading some of the other comments: disengage your brain and just enjoy the show. As a movie, it has plot holes big enough to fly a C140 cargo transport through, but as just a good ol' fashioned splatter/horror movie this was hard to beat. Yeah, there's not a lot of depth to it, but the acting was passable - for the most part - and the character of Art the Clown was superb. There were a lot - **A LOT** - of scenes that were ridiculously unbelievable but again, if you're just watching this for the sake of enjoying a great horror flick, you have to disengage your brain and just enjoy this one. For what it was, this was an absolutely great movie; I think one of the things that made me despise the (early) _Friday the 13th_ franchise was the fact that it was a horror movie that THOUGHT it was a horror movie...and it was utterly ridiculous. Here, it's almost like _Terrifier_ is just telling a story that happens to be horrific. And it pulls it off like a champ. If you watch this thinking you're going to get a great movie that is deeply profound yet incredibly creepy, you won't; if you're looking for something that is wonderfully gory with an awesome antagonist, you'll probably love this one. I know I did.
