The book was terrific, the film — terrible. Unfortunately, the film-makers decided to skip half of the story and change the other half. I wanted to stop watching after half an hour, and I don’t really know why I didn’t do it.

This film compared to the novel is less humourous, less absurd, less lively and less exciting altogether. Such a shame cause the book is hilarious!

Superb. Almost a "Forrest Gump" movie. My family enjoyed ir very much. Funny, a bit strange, and it has its very good moments. I haven't read the book, but the movie it's fantastic.
