In rural Connecticut, baseball players Ben and Mickey are trying to survive a zombie plague. They are forced to form a battery: a catcher and a pitcher who work together to outwit the batter, the one who hits the ball. And the batter in this case just happens to be a zombie. Tough Ben and gentle Mickey frequently disagree on the best way to go about the situation. Then they suddenly hear a human voice through their walkie-talkies. Is salvation nearby, like Mickey thinks, or is Ben’s suspicion justified?

Endless monologuing with the odd zombie. It's rare for me to bail on a movie without watching it all - but I couldnt endure this one

Seems like a no budget movie, therefore it relied on setting, dialogue and characters. Good job. There's a nice balance between taking the situation serious and entertaining/comedy. The acting was good. There was a slow patch near the end. The soundtrack was good, but it maybe seemed like someone forcing their personal playlist on you. 7/10 for what it is. Overall a 6

An indie road trip buddy flick zombie movie. And like a zombie, this film was lively at the beginning but suffered at the end when it refused to die.

Not at all what I was expecting. All of its shortcomings are completely understandable (though it does still have them).

_Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
