With this movie, the Bourne Trilogy went instant classic. One of the best chase scenes I know of, a much deeper view on the identity of Bourne himself and the memorable 'magazine weapon' fight scene. Worth of a longer review, but I am too lazy today.

This installment of the Bourne series may not hold true to the source novel but is still very well done. The pacing is a perfect mix of action with just the right amount of breaks to fill in story that is often difficult to balance in these movies. I'm not a huge Matt Damon fan but I think he is exceptional in these. He is very believable as a man who is searching for an identity in the middle of being the world's foremost assassin. Great sequence in the closing chase scene in Moscow, nice stunts and just enough ridiculousness to make sure you don't try this at home

Best of the bunch, IMO. Wisely, the filmmakers quickly do away with the whole hand-holding innocent civilian tagalong thing and just concentrate on Bourne outsmarting the entire black ops wing of the US government at every turn. With the premise set completely by the first movie, the sequel can feel free to quit worrying about the setup and dive right into the action and weighty plot developments.

Supremacy has several scenes that are more than coincidentally similar to the original, but they’re all amped up a couple notches (rolled up magazine fight > pen fight, taxi tunnel chase scene > Mini Cooper chase scene, etc.) and paired with enough original material to retain a unique identity (no pun intended). The story does a great job of picking up on the dangling threads from the original and wrapping them all up into a rewarding, conclusive finale.

There’s a bit too much shaky-cam in the action scenes for my liking, but this was released when that concept still felt fresh and it does lend a slightly more believable look and feel than what you'll get from the more classic polished Hollywood fight scenes.

Paul Greengrass takes the helm of the Bourne series in the exciting and gritty sequel, The Bourne Supremacy. The story continues as Jason Bourne finds himself on the run when he’s setup for the deaths of two CIA agents. Matt Damon, Brian Cox, and Julia Stiles return, and are joined by Joan Allen and Karl Urban. The plot’s overly complicated and isn’t as compelling as the mystery of the first film. And, the action is a bit overcharged and noisy. Yet, The Bourne Supremacy is a smart, well-crafted film that’s thrilling and intense.

Paul “Shakin’ Stevens” Greengrass takes the helm for the two sequels and despite my arsy tone, it was a good step for the franchise. This is a superior film to the former in almost every way, and it’s not as if the bar was low.

It’s faster, more exciting, smarter and incredibly intense from start to finish. Bourne is on the run and barely stops to take a breather, but Greengrass always knows when to change gear as things begin to look monotonous.

Proof that spectacle doesn’t have to come at the expense of story; The Bourne Supremacy is the film that really cements this trilogy as a modern classic.

This is good. Not better than the first as I thought it was, but still good. Some great action. Also...weird to revisit this and now see that the evil secret ops guy is Karl Urban. Is this what set him off? Was he already a star then and I just didn't know it? Anyway, this is good. So is Dredd.

This is such a good movie, but the camera is awful. You can hardly watch the action scenes. After a while, my eyes ached so much that I really suffered. It's a pity and I'm so glad that this shaky camera is no longer used today and we can enjoy a stable image like John Wick.

" It changes things, that knowledge. Doesn't it? When what you love gets taken from you, you wanna know the truth ".......this movie had a tragic start...throughout this film we connect more with bourne and that's the part i like about this.. the fight scenes were great and also the story...exciting from start to finish.....i think i liked this movie more than the first one...and that ending was awesome...in this film, we get the chance to know how cool and love-able this mysterious character is...

The movie in itself is good, but god damn, why Mr. Greengrass always hires cameramen with Parkinson. This is the big drawback of this movie for me, every action scenes are ruined because of this.
