An inspirational true story; proof, if ever it were needed, that one person can make a difference.

There are hundreds of films about how hard is education for poor african children, and this one belongs with that group. Anything new, but it's important to think about those towns.

This was mentioned on facebook and sounded like a worthwhile watch. I have been in Malawi and other countries in Africa, so I was interested to see how the place would figure in the film - but it was a shock to see the extremes of weather the villagers had to deal with. The film itself was excellent and I was glad to see Netflix had picked it up.

Parents, have your young teens watch this movie. It is evidence that you don’t have to be old to make things better for those around you and more so that your elders aren’t always right and must be challenged too.

Another magnificent movie with Chiwetel Ejiofor as an actor, which i like very much for making this type of movies that are really profound, realistic, inspirational, touching, and even more surprised is the fact that is also the director and writer of the movie. Absolutely one of the best actors, (and now director and writer) for this type of movies. And the other involved actors they are very good as well (normally are wich is expected).

Chiwetel Ejiofor writes, directs and acts in this film about how the necessity seen by a child can lead him towards saving his village through science. I think this is one of those films that should be used at schools to promote science and education as something practical that can help people. I liked it and would definitely recommend it.
