Five high school students from different walks of life endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal. The Breakfast Club was great, probably one of the best teen movies I've ever seen. Despite the stereotypes that all the characters are, they're still fun to watch and I particularly liked Allison. The only major problems I had with it were the really bland adults and the absolutely terrible ending. The coupling up was completely unnecessary and Allison was way cooler pre-makeover; she basically changed everything that made her who she is because hurr gotta wear makeup and be pretty. I would have been perfectly happy if everybody had stayed the way they were and just been friendly with each other. Grrr...

Woah, splendid representation of what could happen if you sit down and actually talk to people and about yourself, show interest in a person. What a difference it could make and how people can be influenced. Glad I finally got around to seeing it.

The most timeless film of the Hughes / Ringwald / Brat Pack era, and clearly the most serious, personal work of the director's career. The Breakfast Club is an up-close, introspective look at five essentially disparate souls who share one cramped Saturday together in detention and, along the way More

This movie is incredible. But that ending was utter trash (mostly)

The way the characters are introduced truly tells the audience who these people are, which is the then even further amplified by the meals they decided to eat. Each unique and matching their personality.

The brain, the athlete, the princess, the basket case, and the criminal - yes we’re talking about _The Breakfast Club_. It’s been dubbed as a seminal film of the 1980s and takes a place as an intergenerational classic More

_**Forced, artificial dialogs with eye-rolling character arcs**_

Released in 1985 and written & directed by John Hughes, "The Breakfast Club" is a teen dramedy about five high school students from five different sub-cultures during an all-day detention over the weekend at their suburban Chicago s More
