When a group of elite online gamers each receive a mysterious invitation to trial a state-of-the-art virtual reality video game, it’s a dream come true and impossible to resist. Arriving at the test site, the group step into hi-tech gear and prepare for a revolutionary, next-level gaming experience that brings modern warfare to life with frightening realism. At first it’s a unique and exhilarating experience. But what starts out like a dream encounter with cutting edge technology quickly takes a turn for the sinister. Once the group are attacked by enemy combatants, they soon realize this is no game after all. Make a mistake here and you pay with your life. Now these masters of the shoot ‘em up will have to fight for survival within a game gone bad, but this time it’s for real.

I didn’t buy the story. Gamers are not credible: they are supposed to be at the top of the leaderboard! And they play like morons (even sissies) fat boy is ridiculous. It’s doesn’t even explain “why”. What is the purpose of that CTI CEO ?

If this is the future of virtual reality then please don't call me up. Interesting concept but I lost interest near the end. Levels down rather than levels up. Game Over!

I really didn't know what to expect from this but I have to say I really liked it! The suspense is on the edge of your seat stuff.
Very timely with all the hype around VR at the moment.
If you're in to your sci fi it's a must see...

I caught this at the London Sci-Fi festival where it went down a storm. An impressive film recommended to passionate gamers and for sci-fi buff. The apparently simple premise has the immediacy of a lost classic: pure, quite gripping and brilliantly transposed on screen. A little cult movie that deserves to be seen!

I really loved this film :) I saw it in the cinema and it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! It is full of cool twists, sprinkled with a good dash of humour too. (I didn't guess the plot twists which is always a sign of a good film for me!) Think Hunger Games, meets the Matrix - If More
